Serve as Educational Program Consultant for the Iowa Department of Education in the Leading, Teaching, Learning Services Bureau supporting educator preparation programs in Iowa. This work includes site visits, providing general technical assistance, recommending para professional programs for approval, overseeing teachiowa.gov, supporting the Iowa Professional Development Model (IPDM), and analyzing and preparing federal reports on teacher shortages. This position will also be a part of the Department educator preparation team working together to continuously improve Iowa’s educator preparation programs.
