The next two SPARK Sessions will take place on Friday January 28th, 1:00-2:00pm and Thursday February 24th, 9:00-10:00am.

January's guest speaker will be Dr. Stephanie Stollar. She is a professor at Mount Saint Joseph University. She is also an independent educational consultant who runs the Reading Science Academy and she manages the Training Reading Rocket Scientists Facebook group for College Instructors interested in learning about and collaborating with others in the area of literacy and interventions. Stephanie is AMAZING and is a wealth of knowledge.

February's guest speaker will be Dr. Deborah Reed from the Iowa Reading Research Center.

Greetings IACTE Members,
We are excited to announce the next in our series of IACTE sessions to SPARK your thinking, a chance to come together and engage in a variety of topics.  

For our next session, Dr. Lindsay Grow from Grand View University will be moderating a session about preparing Iowa’s literacy teachers. This session will feature stories of change in Iowa and time to collaborate with attendees. Additional details can be found on the attached informational flyer.
